Hey guys, I was wondering where are the best places to farm with my mage account. I began POE about two weeks ago. I chose my build on this forum. I love this build and i hope someone can help me to find the best places to farm Poe orbs.

Those are some of the most common questions both Ziz and me do get on a regular basis. So we teamed up to present to you a guide to playing Path of Exile efficiently.

If you're running a lot of increased item rarity & increased item quantity, there have been several MF guides in the last few weeks (so, they're up to date). It seems - from my brief reading of them - that Dried Lake farming is a viable farming place. Just kill the boss and reset, as bosses drop more loot.
If you're not running a large amount of iiq/iir, just run maps. The highest tier map that you can quickly run is the best map to run. If it takes twice as long to safely run a map, run the tier below that... Monsters killed per hr being the goal, for efficient farming.
It's a good idea to try and get as many of the challenges done as you can, since you're in the challenge league. The prizes are something you'd likely have to pay real money for later if they're available at all.
